Impact Report 2023: being accountable for our impact
Namene is a values-led business. One of our eight shared values is Accountability, whereby we take responsibility for our actions, and pride in our impact.
So this week marks an important milestone for us in living this value, with the release of our first-ever Impact Report.
‘Beyond presenting a snapshot of what we achieved in 2023, our first report captures some of the journey the company has been on over the years, evolving from a solar start-up to a fast-growing clean technology business with expanding horizons.’ says Patrick Lagrange, Namene’s founder and CEO.
The report covers key metrics on our impact to date as well as highlights from 2023. From hitting one million lights deployed under our carbon subsidy projects to launching our solar charger Zafi, 2023 was a seminal year for Namene.
Beyond the numbers, the testimonies and smiles from our buyers and partners bring our impact to life in the report, which also uses our vibrant new visual brand.
Patrick adds: ‘The milestones reached in 2023 and to date set out in this report show that the years taken to refine our model and firm up our ambitions have all been worth it. With the dedication of our people and the support of our partners, we’re on our way to deliver our purpose to empower every community through clean technology.’
